Summer Fun!

We were outside for the evening and I decided to finally take some pictures...Kaden had his sun glasses on from earlier in the day. When we started taking pictures, Kash ran in the house and found some of his own. They had fun posing with them and being goofy!

Then...it was off to the races!!! They love to race back and forth across the yard. On Your Mark! Get Set! GO!!!

This spring, the new little chicks at the farm store caught Kaden's eye. Every time he would go with Elden to the store he would beg for little chicks. A couple weeks later...right before Easter, Elden came home with a box of 10 little chicks. (sorry no pics of the little chicks) Kaden was so excited to have them, he helped Elden build a chicken coop and it wasn't long, they turned from baby chicks to real big CHICKENS!! Needless to say, Kaden loves them and with the help of Kash, they take very good care of them.

May Update...

Kash was sitting on the counter with his blanket and juice watching me make dinner. A few minutes later...this is what I found. One tired boy!! (Don't worry....I didn't leave him there!)

Kash's 2 Year Old Birthday!!

I never did post Christmas pictures and now Christmas is old news...... so here are a few pictures of the latest happenings.

I spent a week in Park Valley and we each made a denim & fleece quilt....so fun!

Just recently, I decorated for Valentines! Elden wonders why I put the "Christmas" tree back up.....I had to explain to him that its the "Holiday" tree.

A week prior to Halloween, we went to a party

with Elden's family. The kids loved dressing up!

Kaden got to dress up for Pre-school. He

insisted on being "Spiderman." This was his

costume from last year he dug out. He got to

take a treat for everyone!

Kaden started Pre-School last month. He was pretty excited to go. I was wondering how the separation would go on his part. The first day went very well. I left him without a problem. I was so excited thinking we had it conquered.....until the next day.....I left with him crying and screaming. His teacher said it only lasted for about 5 minutes. He was fine, and when I picked him up, he said he had a good day. The next day went pretty much the same, with him crying. I guess he just needed to cry a couple of times, because now he won't even let me walk him to the gate. Before we even get there, he says, "Bye Mom, you stay in the car, okay." Needless to say, he loves pre-school. It is definitely the highlight of his day. Kash loves it too, because one of the days, I tend the Teacher's twins. Kash is in 7th Heaven having someone to play with that doesn't boss him around :)
